Yesterday I took a hike through the Maroon Bells Scenic Area in Aspen, Colorado. Here are two of the pictures. As I walked I recalled the words of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. You will see her words next to the first photograph. Elizabeth was right!
Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; But only he who sees, takes off his shoes, The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries, And daub their natural faces unaware. More and more, from the first similitude Elizabeth Barrett Browning
The heavens declare the glory of God; The skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; Night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, Their words to the ends of the world. (King David, Psalm 19:1-4 ESV).
